ALP stands for Arizona Libertarian Party,
which there are two of in Arizona.
Those two parties are Peter Schmerl's ALP Incorporated and the older original Arizona Libertarian Party, which isn't incorporated. From what I have been told this is the lawsuit that Peter Schmerl's ALP Inc. filed against Ernie Hancock's ALP. Buy when you look at the lawsuit it sure doesn't look like that. The lawsuit appears to be filed by Helen Purcell who is the Maricopa County Recorder against both the ALP and ALP Inc., or the people behind the ALP and ALP Inc who are Ernest Hancock and Fran Van Cleave for ALP and Peter Schmerl and Kat Gallant for ALP Inc. According to what I heard or thought I heard from John Buttrick who was one of the lawyers for ALP, when the lawsuit was filed ALP Inc. was the Plaintiff and ALP was the Defendant. But when Helen Purcell was added to the lawsuit it was rearranged giving the current Plaintiff and Defendants. If that is not true when perhaps Peter Schmerl didn't file the lawsuit against ALP. These are the first 5 pages of the lawsuit. I got them from the Maricopa County Superior Court records department which is at 601 W Jackson in Phoenix, Arizona. This stuff is all public records and anyone can go down there and view ALL the information about the lawsuit for free or make copies of the lawsuit for 50 cents a page like I did. According to the timestamp on the document the lawsuit or at least this document was filed or processed on 03/05/1999 which I suspect is either March 5, 1999 or May 3, 1999. |
